Meet the Mob Followup: Trevor Hinkle

In my first Meet the Mob post, I will concede I did not give enough detail, so I give you my followup to Meet the Mob: Trevor Hinkle:

I first started seriously playing games at about age 9 or 10. My first game ever played was Civilization 3. I loved it, though at first I didn’t understand that to gain the most space, I should space out my cities. I still remember one time playing as the Germans, where I had over 100 cities covering only North America.

I had spaced the cities the minimum distance apart. Several years after I got into Civilization 3, Civilization 4 came out. Naturally, I was MEGA excited. I got it for Christmas and it remains my most played game ever and I still go back to it even now. I thought that Civilization 4 improved on Civilization 3 in so many ways that I never expected, I was overwhelmed with awesomeness.

My musical tastes range all over the rock spectrum. I LOVE the Foo Fighters, and own all of their albums. I am also a big fan of the Offspring. My favorite song by them is probably “Self Esteem”. The first rock band I really liked was Green Day. I soon branched out from there by listening to my (now defunct) local rock station.

I discovered many bands, including but not exclusive to Foo Fighters, The Offspring, The Killers, Stone Temple Pilots, and Audioslave. I am also a big Guns and Roses fan (only their first album though).

I feel like joining Bitmob is the best thing I can do at this age to increase my chances of getting into the games industry. I originally tried to start a blog, and another blog, and another after that. Every time I would lose interest becuase I wanted attention. No one was reading my stuff! Attention is one of my greatest motivations to write.

I check my profile page on Bitmob several times a day to see how many hits my articles have (this article needs some hits if you want to give it some, I think it is my best yet). I joined Bitmob on day two and hope to  have a long and fruitful Bitmob career. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m here to stay!
