Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and the rest of The Avengers are about to get all blocky for some Minecrafting adventures.
Microsoft revealed today that it is adding a new skin pack to Xbox Live that brings the superheroes of Marvel’s The Avengers to Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. This pack will include skins for Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Nick Fury, Black Widow, Loki, Wasp, Falcon, Vision, Maria Hill, Agent Coulson, and more.
Microsoft did not specify a release date or price for the expansion.
Developer Mojang’s block-building game often gets themed downloadable content on Xbox 360. These DLC packs add special looks to the world and characters. Microsoft has previously released Skyrim and Christmas skin packs for its version of Minecraft.

Minecraft is also available for PC, PlayStation 3, and mobile devices, but it’s unlikely that these official skin packs will make it to the other platforms, since Microsoft typically negotiates these deals. Of course, on PC, Minecraft fans can get all kinds of mods to add skins for just about any character you can think of. PlayStation 3, however, is probably out of luck when it comes to The Avengers.
