The Games Growth Guild today launched as a new community for marketing and publishing professionals working in the games industry. The Guild brings together a network of experts from various parts of the industry, including indie studios, platforms, mobile developers and triple-A publishers.

According to its founding advisors, the Guild plans to be a hub for knowledge, networking and opportunities for the whole games industry. To do this, it will hold talks, exchanges and peer support in addition to free resources. At each such events, members can trade knowledge and ideas, while exploring new strategies and studying successes.

Eden Chen, CEO of Pragma-FirstLook and one of the Guild’s founding advisory board members, said in a statement: “Game developers have solved incredible challenges, but marketing and distribution remain the hardest problems. The Games Growth Guild brings together the industry’s best to share best practices and resources to help great games find their players.”
