Nexon America today announced the start of Mabinogi’s 18th anniversary celebration, marking nearly two decades of online fantasy adventures with its passionate global community.
To commemorate the milestone, Mabinogi is rolling out three weeks of in-game events, special rewards, and community-driven stats revealing key player milestones that highlight the game’s continuous growth and enduring appeal.
Since its North American debut in 2008, Mabinogi has built a loyal community of players dedicated to its ever-evolving world. One standout example is the game’s longest-active player, who has been adventuring since March 2008 and has reached a cumulative level of 1,000,000.
Other players who exhibit Mabinogi’s spirit of adventure, creativity, and community include an in-game fashionista showcasing chic outfits, a community artist named Fadingjade, who has hand-drawn over 1,400 portrait sketches of fellow players she has encountered in-game, and a couple who met in-game in 2010 and got married last year with a Mabinogi-themed wedding.

In addition to the community-driven stats reveal, players can look forward to Mabinogi’s
18th anniversary celebration kicking off today, with three weeks of in-game festivities,
exclusive rewards, and surprises.
The main event, “A Gift of Mysterious Magic,” runs through Thursday, April 9, and invites players to meet Leath in the Library of Secrets for a special story questline. Along the way, players can enjoy mini-games hosted by Booksprites and earn milestone rewards through daily, weekly, and achievement challenges.
Additional anniversary activities include the Stamp Sprint, where players complete Leath’s flyer challenge for collectible rewards; the GM’s 18th Anniversary Hotday Event, which offers exclusive items such as GM’s favorite dye selection boxes, Fields of Fancy Chair, twirl gesture cards, title coupons, and more; and a limited-time Anniversary Sales Event featuring gachas and special in-game discounts. And there’s more.
Throughout the celebration, players can look forward to surprise login bonuses, limited-time giveaways, and community events designed to bring Milletians together in the spirit of adventure, creativity, and fun.
MapleStory/One-Punch Man collaboration
In other news, Nexon also announced the MapleStory x One-Punch Man collaboration is now live, bringing the globally acclaimed anime series into the iconic side-scrolling MMORPG through limited-time crossover events from now until Tuesday, April 14.
This epic crossover marks one of MapleStory’s most ambitious collaborations to date, uniting two beloved worlds in a way that both longtime Maplers and One-Punch Man fans can experience firsthand.
Players can take on the role of Saitama, completing special missions and leveling up to unlock powerful skills, perks, and limited-time rewards. Through the Hero’s Adventure Journal event, adventurers can complete exploration, activity, and boss missions to earn account-wide prizes such as furnishing boxes, special mounts, and exclusive collaboration items.
There’s even more to explore beyond the main missions. Monster Park Mayhem event features daily and weekly missions where players can defeat monsters to earn themed furnishing boxes, coupons, and Hero Coins, while the Virtual Combat System lets players step into the shoes of Genos to battle the Deep Sea King within a 30-minute time limit for exclusive items like the Permanent Become Genos Mount Coupon. The Centichoro Punch King event will challenge players to take on Centichoro in score-based battles and earn Punch Coins based on how much damage you dealt.
Additional events include the Heroes Appear quest, where defeating enemies fills a special
gauge that unlocks a significant EXP bonus, enhancing progression for dedicated players.
Finally, players can spend their hard-earned coins in three themed shops. The Hero Coin Shop, Centichoro Punch King Coin Shop, and Meso Shop each offer an array of collaboration-exclusive items, mounts, and customization options.
