We’ve got another podracing game coming, as Lucasfilm Games unveiled Star Wars: Galactic Racer at The Game Awards.

We had one of these before, so long ago that I can’t remember when it came out. I’ll have to look it up. But this one looks like an amazing experience with blazing-fast speeds and all kinds of futuristic racing pods. It’s a high-stakes racing adventure coming in 2026.

With the Empire gone and the galaxy rebuilding, The Galactic League is formed: an underground race scene where syndicates bankroll chaos and champions are forged.

It’s the second Star Wars game unveiled tonight. Earlier, Arcanaut Studios unveiled Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, a single-player action RPG set in the Old Republic. It’s being spearheaded by Casey Hudson.
