British game publisher Kwalee announced four upcoming games coming from its developers today at the Galaxies Gaming Showcase.
Based in Leamington Spa, United Kingdom, Kwalee has a growing catalog of PC and console games in the market, from Wildmender to Robobeat. And today it is showing off trailers from games including Ground Zero, Hark The Ghoul, Talespinner and Town to City.
Kwalee itself was founded by games industry veteran and Codemasters cofounder David Darling, and it now has studios in the U.K., Saudi Arabia, India and more around the world. It is perhaps the Saudi expansion that is enabling it to be more aggressive in the market.
Here’s a look at its four new games.
Ground Zero

Created by independent developer Malformation Games, Ground Zero is a retro-inspired survival horror game that will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.
The console editions will be released alongside the previously announced PC version. To coincide with the announcement, a brand-new gameplay trailer has been released, offering a chilling look at the horrors awaiting players in the city of Busan, now engulfed in
chaos following a catastrophic meteor strike. The narrative trailer highlights the game’s tense atmosphere, eerie environments, and the terrifying monsters that stalk players through Busan’s dark and desolate streets.
Set in a devastated South Korea, Ground Zero challenges players to uncover the truth
behind the mysterious meteor impact that has reduced the nation to ruins and transformed every living thing into a monstrous threat. Atmospheric, brutal and steeped in tension, the game promises a gripping survival horror experience rooted in classic genre sensibilities.
Malformation Games is remote-first indie studio in Sweden, and it was started by James Marchant.
Hark the Ghoul

Indie game studio Deep Denizens from France unveiled a new demo for Hark the Ghoul, an upcoming first-person, exploration-focused dungeon crawler with retro-modern graphics.
The updated demo brings updated visuals allowing players to customise their visual experience with support for different aspect ratios. Players can also apply filters like CRT or texture smoothing. The demo also brings new enemies, weapons, magic spells and consumables.
A codex feature has also been added for players to remember and make sense of the world with an artbook containing commentary from the developers. Players who step into this richly developed world, filled with dark lore and immersive environments with the demo can carry their saves to the full game. The game is headed to PC via Steam in 2026.
Hark the Ghoul is a first-person, exploration-focused indie souls-like that combines freeform traversal and expressive combat in a charming lore-rich world. It combines creative immersive-sim problem-solving, souls-like non-linear exploration, and a melancholic and striking world.
Deep Denizens has a team of three devoted to crafting strange, atmospheric worlds to get lost in.
Talespinner

Indie game dev Flash Cat Games showed a new demo for the upcoming roguelike deckbuilder, Talespinner.
Players eager to step into a captivating world inspired by the exotic and mysterious tapestry of Japanese mythology can dive in now by downloading the demo on Steam.
The demo features one playable character and lets players experience the beginning of the game’s story — starting and ending in the same biome. Players can also choose between two distinct narrative paths, leading them through either lush Bamboo Forests or tranquil Rice Fields, each offering unique story variations and replayability.
The demo includes four of the eight biomes along with 24 random events and access to
over 50 companions (excluding those unlocked through bosses, monsters, or special
conditions).
For those seeking an extra challenge, the demo also features two hidden story twists
designed for the most hardcore players. The game has three playable characters, more than 200 battle cards and three scenarios based on Japanese myths.
In Talespinner, players will enter a captivating realm steeped in the exotic and bizarre tapestry of Japanese mythology with Talespinner, a deck-building roguelike adventure. As
the storyteller, players will guide their chosen hero through an ever-changing narrative
shaped by their decisions and deck construction.
Flash Cat Games is an independent Polish studio founded by three longtime friends with a
shared love for myths and storytelling.
Town to City

Indie developer Galaxy Grove announced its previously published Town to City, a cosy and creative city builder, is receiving its first major update this November.
The free update introduces a range of new features to enhance players’ towns and creativity.
As part of the update, players will be able to give their citizens pets such as cats or add cattle to their towns. They can acquire pets from the new building – the animal shelter. The update also introduces a new first-person perspective, allowing players to experience the true beauty of their towns and bustling communities by walking their streets firsthand. In
addition, players will discover new ways to decorate their towns with new props and there
are also two new buildings – a dress maker and a patisserie.
Set in a charming 19th-century world, Town to City lets players create and customise their dream town from scratch. They can place every building, road, and garden exactly where they want, and shape a community that’s truly their own. Town to City lets players play through the story campaign or relax in sandbox mode, building at their own pace whether
that means carefully arranging every detail or growing their economy into a thriving city.
Galaxy Grove, a game studio based in Utrecht, Netherlands, was founded by Joost van
