Japanese hit franchise ‘Attack on Titan’ gets its first game release in the West

This is not an April Fool’s Day joke.

Atlus announced today that it will publish Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains, the very first game from the popular Japanese animation and comic franchise to reach North America and Europe. The Spike Chunsoft-developed title comes exclusively to the Nintendo eShop for 3DS this May. Attack on Titan is hugely popular in its home country, with an anime adaptation and a series books already out and two live-action movies slated for later this year. This release gives Sega-owned publisher Atlus the first crack at the Western fans that have been demanding more.
