Microsoft put in an appearance at Gamescom’s Opening Night Live event, giving several announcements related to last year’s title, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. It not only revealed the game’s first major DLC, but also announced that the base game will be the first major first-party Xbox title to come to the Nintendo Switch 2 console.
The first piece of Indiana Jones-based news from the event was the official announcement of the release date for the game’s DLC: The Order of Giants. The DLC takes place in Rome, and delves into the secrets of the Nephilim Order and the titular Giants. It launches on September 4 and is available for free to those who purchased the Premium or Collector’s Editions of the game.
At the end of the trailer for The Order of Giants, the company revealed that the base MachineGames title is coming to Nintendo’s new Switch 2 console sometime in 2026 (presumably with the DLC included).
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle joins the library of third-party titles coming to the Switch 2, which includes Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.
