HoYoverse have revealed the first trailer for Nodus Fall at Gamescom, an action adventure game that looks a lot like a soulslike title fused with Monster Hunter DNA.
Of course, HoYoverse of know for RPG games like Genshin Impact, so this is it’s first outing with a game that has a much darker tone, and one akin to FromSoftware’s Dark Souls and Elden Ring games.
Nodus Fall will be an open world dark fantasy game, made with Unreal Engine and will see groups of players join forces to slay mighty bosses.
So far it’s unknown if Nodus Fall will be focused on multiplayer gameplay like Elden Ring Nightreign, or a more traditional soulslike experience where players can dip in and out of multiplayer, be it PvP or co-op.
Nodus Fall is coming to PS5 with no release date confirmed as of yet.
