Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is nothing like Modern Warfare 2. Please do not confuse the two.
Bad Company 2 requires snipers to account for gravity, tank operators to signal for support, and medics to provide constant medical oversight. While I won’t proclaim BC2 to be a better game by any means, it seems far more complicated than MW2.
Yet despite the world of difference between these first-person shooters, trigger-happy imbeciles seem to populate most Bad Company 2 servers. Instead of employing the calculated tactics which developer Digital Illusions espouses, most players adopt the twitchy, schizophrenic mentality that Modern Warfare 2 seems to reward.
In that vein, Pixel Enemy produced a comprehensive tutorial on “how not to be a noob at Battlefield: Bad Company 2.” Trust me, it’s really useful.
