The Oculus Rift is one hell of a piece of hardware, but it does have one weird shortcoming: some light leaks in around the nose area. Thankfully, one of the brightest minds in the industry has stepped in with a … well, he’s calling it “a solution.”

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida jumped on Twitter on Thursday night (Friday morning in Japan) to show off his engineering prowess. The executive responsible for PlayStation’s first-party releases posted an image of a black sleeping mask alongside two shots of him stuffing it into the open space between his nose and the Rift.

This is pretty good, but — after using the PlayStation VR device that’s coming later this year — I think Yoshida should leave product design to his very talented hardware team.
