GSN Games spins out a new Wheel of Fortune social casino game

GSN Games is spinning the wheel again. The San Francisco-based company is announcing the launch of Wheel of Fortune Slots: The Ultimate Collection today on Google Play.

The new app features Wheel of Fortune TV show co-host Vanna White, and it offers players a chance to win up to $100,000 in cash prizes in daily sweepstakes events. Social casino games aren’t as red hot as they once were, but the category is still a big market, with $951 million in revenues in the second quarter, up 15.7 percent from a year earlier, according to market analyst firm Eilers & Krejcik Gaming. GSN has an estimated $45 million quarterly revenue in the sector, making it seventh among the largest social casino companies.
