Grand Theft Auto Online‘s newest multiplayer update adds a new plane and competitive mode. The World War II-inspired P-45 Nokota is the new flier, while Dogfights has teams of aviators taking turns at 1-vs.-1 plane battles.

Grand Theft Auto Online, the online component of Grand Theft Auto V, has been a big money-maker for Take-Two, thanks largely to constant updates like this one. Take-Two will post its earnings for the financial year later today. The publisher has attributed much of its success to GTA Online’s growth and economy in past reports.

Rockstar is always adding new vehicles and game modes. Playing the competitive modes can give you cash to help you buy cars, boats, and planes. But you can always use real money to boost your virtual wallet.

The P-45 Nokota, while not a real plane, takes inspiration from classic fighters like the  P-51 Mustang, which the U.S. used in World War II. After something of a hiatus, World War II is back in fashion in the world of gaming, with Activision recently launching Call of Duty: WWII.

As is usual with the introduction of a new mode, GTA Online will give Dogfight players double in-game cash and experience points until November 13.
