Core developer Gosh said it has launched the “fastest blockchain possible” with the debut of the mainnet for Acki Nacki.
The Sofia, Bulgaria-based Gosh announced the mainnet launch of Acki Nacki, the fastest blockchain theoretically possible. Built on a consensus protocol that reaches finality in just two communication steps—the lowest number possible in any interactive network—Acki Nacki aims to achieve mass adoption of decentralized blockchain technology for uses beyond financial applications.
Through its mobile app, Acki Nacki has an active community of over five million users, called Mobile Verifiers. Unlike traditional tap-to-earn apps that distribute pre-existing tokens, Acki Nacki’s Mobile Verifiers contribute to network security and earn real block rewards by playing on-chain games directly on their smartphones. From the very first block, 22.5% of the entire network is allocated to Mobile Verifiers.
“Today marks a pivotal moment in blockchain history,” said Mitja Goroshevsky, Gosh cofounder and Acki Nacki architect, in a statement. “Acki Nacki doesn’t just incrementally improve existing technology—it represents the theoretical maximum of what’s possible in consensus systems. And it goes beyond just tech—Acki Nacki carries with it a profound philosophical commitment to decentralization and fairness. And in every step of the development process, we focused on achieving full, uncompromised decentralization. Now we see it becoming a reality.”
Architecture solves blockchain’s greatest limitations

Acki Nacki introduces multiple breakthrough innovations that fundamentally address the industry’s most persistent challenges:
The Fastest Blockchain Theoretically Possible: Acki Nacki reaches consensus in two communication steps—the theoretical minimum for any interactive network. This isn’t just faster than existing blockchains; it’s mathematically impossible to build anything faster.
True Mobile Mining at Scale: Mobile devices contribute to network security, rather than participating in disguised token distribution. Mobile Verifiers earn 22.5% of all network rewards through playing a Turing-complete massive multiplayer roguelike card game.
Bitcoin for Proof of Stake: Acki Nacki’s Tokenomics follows a ‘Bitcoin for Proof of Stake’ model—a Proof of Work system adapted for Proof of Stake.
An exceptionally challenging integration — it is based on the principle that a token should follow a deflationary curve and be modeled on Fairness, meaning there are no pre-mines, no T.G.E., and no investor token allocations.
Gas-Free Transactions: As a blockchain industry first, Acki Nacki enables users to interact with applications without paying gas fees, removing a major adoption barrier while maintaining network sustainability.
Additional breakthrough features include specialized proxy-based network infrastructure that eliminates traffic bottlenecks common with networks like Solana and Ethereum, integrated RPC nodes that remove dependence on centralized providers, formally incentivized Block Managers that ensure optimal network performance.
“Most blockchain projects optimize for developers and hope users will follow,” added Goroshevsky. “We’ve inverted that model with a radical user-first philosophy. By building genuinely useful, accessible applications first and making the underlying blockchain invisible to users, we’re creating a path to mass adoption that doesn’t require users to become crypto experts.”
The platform launches with engaging applications including Die Last and Popit Games, designed to onboard mainstream users into blockchain technology through state-of-the-art gaming experiences that run entirely on-chain. The network features direct community engagement through Boost farming and developer initiatives focused on mass adoption, complemented by an immersive web series that brings the platform’s cartoon universe and character-driven narratives to life.
The mainnet launch follows successful testing phases that demonstrated the network’s capabilities and validated the mobile mining system’s effectiveness at scale with massive community participation.
Acki Nacki mainnet is now live and accessible to users worldwide. Developers can begin building on the platform immediately, with access to gas-free transaction capabilities and integrated infrastructure that eliminates traditional deployment complexities.
Gosh is the core contributor to the Acki Nacki blockchain, founded and led by former CTO of TON Labs Mitja Goroshevsky. The company recently raised $6 million through its pre-launch node sale with participation from leading investors including Kingsway Capital, Blockchain.com, Hack VC, K5 Global, and Original Capital.
I asked Goroshevsky to elaborate on how the tech works.
“Acki Nacki has 2-step consensus (the theoretical limit) which provides real time finality, and multithreaded/multisharded execution, so scalability is bounded only by current hardware — in short: fastest possible general-purpose L1,” Goroshevsky said.
He added, “For games, the engine plugs them into a mining engine; player actions produce deterministic, cryptographically verifiable work units. Consensus tallies these units and maps them to block-production weight and rewards, tying issuance to network security (not speculation).”
The engine features include ZK Login and Boosts — privacy-preserving cross-game login (no data sales) plus strong sybil resistance to deter bots. It has pay-per-play tokens: no verifiable work → value decay. Acki Nacki: issuance is coupled to protocol-useful work.
And it is asset-only (NFT/item stores): like a web shop. Acki Nacki: gameplay itself contributes to consensus; assets are optional.
“Result: near hardware-limit throughput, real time finality, and a real-value gaming economy. We expect most games to embed the Acki Nacki Engine within 5 years—even without NFTs/on-chain assets,” said Goroshevsky.
Asked how it’s different from other blockchains, he said, “Acki Nacki achieves 2-step consensus (theoretical minimum) making it the fastest possible general-purpose L1 with real-time finality. Unlike other blockchain games where players just buy tokens, our player actions generate cryptographically verifiable work units that directly contribute to network consensus and security.”
And I also asked how can this succeed where others failed? He replied, “We have 5+ million active users already earning real block rewards through actual gameplay contribution, not speculation. This model works so well that we expect most games to embed the Acki Nacki Engine within 5 years, even without NFTs or on-chain assets, because it creates real value from skill-based play rather than artificial token mechanics.”
