GOG’s new Connect features gives you copies of games you own on Steam

Your GOG library could bigger without spending a cent.

That digital game store has launched Connect today, a new feature that syncs your GOG account with the an account on Steam. Steam is Valve’s digital gaming store, and it’s the largest one in the world for computer games. GOG, however, gives users DRM-free (digital rights management) versions of games. Right now, stores like Steam, Origin, and GOG have to compete a worldwide digital games market that was worth $6.2 billion in April alone, according to research group SuperData.
