Genvid raises $2.5 million and launches interactive livestreaming platform

Genvid Technologies has raised $2.5 million in additional funding, and it has broadly released its technology for interactive streaming of esports broadcasts. The technology is already integrated with Valve’s popular esports shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

The software development kit (SDK) will enable developers to make any multiplayer game (esports titles, virtual reality games, and massively multiplayer online games) more compelling to watch on streaming services, such as YouTube.
