Genvid and NTT Docomo demo 5G LAN party at Tokyo Game Show

Genvid Technologies and Japan’s NTT Docomo are hosting an interactive streaming event at this week’s Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2019. The companies want to show how 5G wireless data will transform gaming.

Genvid adviser and former Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada is giving a talk today on 5G and the possibilities for interactive streaming at NTT Docomo’s booth. Then on Friday during TGS, NTT Docomo is holding a 5G LAN party in the form of an interactive streaming competition. The party is possible because of Genvid’s cloud-based streaming technology.
