At the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, Bethesda announced the Skyline Valley expansion to Fallout 76.

Starting June 12, players will be able to explore a new side of Appalachia with the title’s first ever map expansion. The Skyline Valley covers part of the real-world Shenandoah National Park, home to the inhabitants of Vault 63: irradiated ghouls. Bethesda also revealed that gamers will be able to play as one of these ghouls in Fallout 76 starting in early 2025. It’s not clear at this time how significant the gameplay difference between ghouls and the previous vault dwellers will be beyond cosmetic.
