Fallout 4 gets its first major patch — here’s what’s different

Publisher Bethesda is fixing up its latest release, and the game should run a little bit better than before.

Fallout 4 got a major update today on PC, and you should see notable improvements in framerate. Players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 should expect it in the near future. This patch also adds a minor new feature, but it looks like Bethesda focused most of its resources on improving the stability of its open-world role-playing game. This means it should run smoother in general but also operate better in areas like the Corvega Assembly Plant, which can cause the game to chug terribly.
