Exploring the brave new world of game influencers at GamesBeat 2016

Traditional media has been bypassed. A new cadre of influencers from YouTube, Twitch, and even esports teams are providing a new channels to reach gamers, and game companies are scrambling to figure out the best way to reach these influencers.

We’re making it easier by bringing a panel of star influencers to GamesBeat 2016, our ninth annual gaming conference. Perrin Kaplan, PR maven at Zebra Partners and the former head of marketing at Nintendo, will moderate the session, which is entitled “How influencers are changing game marketing.” She’ll delve into the ecosystem of influencers and offer advice for companies that are trying to crack the fine art of reaching out to these new movers and shakers. Kaplan helped us organize our events in New York and Seattle on mobile game influencers.
