ESPN's 'E:60' covers the history of sports games from Pong to Madden NFL 25

Cable sports network ESPN will air a 60-minute retrospective on the last 40 years of sports video games starting with Pong.

E:60, the network’s news-magazine show that covers issues involving and surrounding sports, is focusing on sports games. For the episode, the show conducted interviews with pro athletes like Tiger Woods, Barry Sanders, and Tony Hawk about what it’s like to star in a game. The program will cover how the simple idea of Pong eventually evolved into the modern-day realistic depictions of sports we have today.
