Resistance and Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games originally planned to release its new third-person, four-player shooter Fuse in March. That won’t happen now.
During a conference call for investors today, Electronic Arts noted that it delayed Fuse into Q1 of its fiscal 2014. That is the period from April 1 to July 31.
“Ted Price and Insomniac Games are putting a lot of polish into fuse,” EA chief operating officer Peter Moore said. “The extra work will pay off for players.”
GamesBeat got hands on with Fuse in December. It puts players in command of a four-member squad of elite military agents. Fuse focuses on multiplayer, but EA says it’ll also have a single-player mode in which the A.I. controls the player’s squadmates.
