EA Sports College Football helped September quarter start with a bang | Andrew Wilson

Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts, said in an analyst call that EA Sports College Football saw five million players in its first 11 days (not counting 500,000 who played a free trial).

Anticipation of the game helped EA Sports come in with stronger results than expected in EA’s first fiscal quarter ended June 30, as it lifted all of EA’s sports titles. The college game’s results will be recorded in EA’s second fiscal quarter ending September 30.
