EA creates Play to Give charity campaign with $1 million donation

Electronic Arts is establishing a new charity campaign, dubbed Play to Give, that will get off the ground with a $1 million donation from the big game publisher.

The charity campaign will kick off at the company’s June 12 EA Play fan event, ahead of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the big game trade show in Los Angeles next week. (EA has pulled its booth from E3 in favor of doing a nearby fan event.) Players can celebrate Play to Give by completing any of five in-game challenges that kick off on June 12.
