Daybreak Game Company has announced its 2026 Extra Life plans, bringing five studio teams together under the Daybreak Games Super Team banner. Once again, Daybreak will sponsor the five Extra Life studio teams, contributing $5,000 each to kickstart the campaign.
Daybreak has supported Extra Life since 2018, and across its years of partnership, the Daybreak community has raised more than $1 million for Children’s Miracle Network. Extra Life, Children’s Miracle Network’s signature cause-gaming program, has raised over $145 million since 2008.
Extra Life Game Day week runs Saturday, November 7 through Sunday, November 15, 2026 with individual studio events and in-game rewards continuing through the end of the year. Leading this year’s lineup is a first for the portfolio: every milestone EverQuest Legends unlocks is granted to the entire player base, donor or not. Each studio team is fundraising for its own local Children’s Miracle Network and setting its own in-game incentives, with open invitations to their communities.
Team EverQuest Legends
EverQuest Legends joins Extra Life for the first time this year, fundraising for Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia — the first hospital in the United States dedicated entirely to the care of children.
As the team total climbs, five milestones unlock a set of five premium Kerran face modification textures, each in male and female variants. Every texture that unlocks is granted to every EverQuest Legends player — not only donors, not only team members — and remains available to any Kerran character permanently. Players can preview the textures in the face modification window at character creation or in-game; the appearance becomes savable once its milestone is reached.
Team Darkpaw (EverQuest and EverQuest II)
Darkpaw Games is raising funds for Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego, a 511-bed nonprofit pediatric facility and the region’s only pediatric trauma center.
The team’s 2026 goal is $115,000, with collective milestones beginning at $15,000 for a 20% experience bonus and scale across 15 tiers to the top goal, where players see 200% bonus experience, 225% increased rare spawn rates, 155% more loot, doubled coin gains, 250% increased collection spawns, and reduced lockout timers. Individual donor rewards start at $5 with the “the Lifegiver” title and climb through the Metamorph: Cerulean Veilwing ($25), Blue Beanie ($50), and Cobalt Riding Dog ($100). Fundraisers who raise under their own name unlock the Contract of the Ursarachnid at $250 and the Gold Beanie Bundle with “Golden Crusader” title at $1,000. Donors receive codes for both EverQuest and EverQuest II.
Group rewards are tallied November 9 and run November 10 through 17. Individual incentives remain available through December 31.
Team Standing Stone Games (The Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online)
Standing Stone Games is again fundraising for Boston Children’s Hospital, with a 2026 goal of $30,000. The team combines Dungeons & Dragons Online and The Lord of the Rings Online players, developers, friends, and family under a single banner; last year it was the hospital’s top fundraiser.
The team’s annual Game Day livestream marathon runs Saturday, November 14 on Twitch.tv/DDOstream and Twitch.tv/LOTROstream, with giveaways throughout.
Group incentives unlock at $10,000, $20,000, and $30,000, with randomly drawn point-code giveaways at each tier for anyone who donates at least $10. The top tier adds an expansion giveaway — an Ultimate Edition of Terror of Demogorgon for DDO players, and three codes for The Wolves of Mordor for LOTRO players. Individual donors earn cumulative picks from each game’s Community Loot List beginning at $10, rising to ten total picks at $60. New to the LOTRO list this year are six in-game titles previously unavailable or distributed only in limited quantities.
Group incentive drawings take place after November 30.
Team Dimensional Ink (DC Universe Online)
Dimensional Ink returns to Extra Life with a $15,000 goal for Dell Children’s Medical Center in Austin, Texas. The team hosts its annual livestream Friday, November 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT on the official DC Universe Online Twitch channel, with donation activities and new items highlighted throughout the broadcast.
Every $3,000 raised unlocks a new in-game reward for the entire DCUO community: the Kindled Caregiver Material at $3,000, the Winged Headset Style at $6,000, the Gamaga 2 Arcade Machine at $9,000, and the Rejuvenating Water Wings at $12,000.
Team members earn personal fundraising rewards at eight levels: the “Extra Life Crusader” Discord role at $25, the “Honorary Blue Lantern” forum title at $50, a Crush avatar on the official DCUO forums at $100, a Stabilizer and 6,500 Ally Favor at $150, the Swirling Fluxline Aura in orange at $200, a Stabilizer and 25 Source Marks at $250, the Swirling Fluxline Aura in purple at $300, and a Reinforced Nth Metal and Destiny Token at $350.
Returning rewards include the Extra Life 2026 Reward Cache, which has a chance to drop from On Duty final bosses November 20 through November 23, each cache holding one tradable reward from a past Extra Life event. All three tiers of the Angelic Drone combat pet return to the House of Legends pet vendor from November 20 through January 1. Login gifts — the Helper’s Halo, Angelic Aura, and Enhanced Angelic Drone Emblem — are claimable November 17 through November 21 on any character that has completed the tutorial. All times Pacific.
