Creative Assembly’s Total War heads to grim future of Warhammer 40K

Join independent journalists and industry decision-makers at GamesBeat NEXT, returning to San Francisco November 2–3. The event brings together 500 executives, founders, investors and tech leaders shaping the $200 billion interactive economy for candid discussions on gaming, entertainment, technology and AI, plus executive networking and opportunities to build partnerships and close major deals.

Creative Assembly announced that it’s next big strategy game will be Total War: Warhammer 40K.

The title was announced at The Game Awards, and it was greeted with a roar of applause.

It takes place in the grim darkness of the future. Mankind is beset by demons and more, but it fights back with Space Marines. It’s a time when the galaxy knows only war. There is no peace among the stars. You can wishlist it now.

The announcement comes after Creative Assembly announced it is also working on Total War: Medieval III.
