Devsisters announced CookieRun: New World as an open-world adventure game coming for mobile, PC and consoles.
The Unreal Engine game is the latest in the CookieRun franchise, which has 300 million players and more than $1 billion in lifetime revenue.
Now, Devsisters revealed what comes next for the intellectual property across multiple fronts including new games, a new era for its flagship title, and two launches expanding the franchise into competitive PvP and physical card gaming.
At Devsisters’ DevNow showcase, the company revealed CookieRun: New World as the franchise’s most ambitious title to date.
The game is a first for the franchise with aims towards (even more) global domination. Set after the era of the legendary Five Heroes, the game follows a new journey across the Cookie continent as a mysterious darkness returns. CookieRun: New World is targeting a 2029 release, coinciding with the franchise’s 20th anniversary.
CookieRun: Crumble
On top of that, the company unveiled CookieRun: Crumble, a new casual title launching in the second half of 2026. CookieRun: Crumble draws inspiration from the idle RPG and casual mobile genre, delivering an accessible, relaxed gameplay experience designed for a wide audience while retaining the franchise’s signature charm.
CookieRun: Kingdom – Chapter 2
And CookieRun: Kingdom, the franchise’s flagship RPG with over 80 million players, is entering its next major story era.
The new arc centers on a catastrophic event that fractures the world’s timeline, sparking a war across multiple timelines as different factions fight to determine which version of reality will survive. The update also introduces a new playable region and accelerates the game’s main story cadence from every four weeks to every two weeks. The update is scheduled for May.
CookieRun Kingdom will also have a K-Pop Demon Hunters collaboration in April. The collab combines the hit animated film that became a global phenomenon in 2025 with CookieRun: Kingdom in YouTube’s Top 10 Trending Report for the U.S status that screams “this will be a massive viral hit.”
