Even though I had some great times this weekend with Halo 3, I couldn’t help but feel that even as great as Halo 3 is, it is starting to feel a little dated. The cure for that this spring will be a taste of Bungie’s latest offering, Halo: Reach.
Whilst it's true that the opening movie parodies 2001: A Space Odyssey and therefore only actually works as humour if you've seen the film (which, at the time, I had not… meaning the jokes sailed over my head), Startopia is a game that rewards the open mind.
I’m embarrassed to admit I almost overlooked the glass case brimming with videogame figurines. Besides, I had attended other games shows where cases containing mountains of game figurines would take up a sizable lot of the expo floor. I’d seen figurines before. Or at least I thought so.
I'm not sure if it's too late to be writing about this game, I don't really think it should be, and getting to things late is part of being a poor gamer. I've beaten the game twice, and I'm working on a third time to get that last trophy, needless to say I enjoy the game.
