Activision announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 will begin on August 26.
Additionally, players on Nintendo Switch 2 will be able to jump into the Modern Warfare 4 Open Beta Weekend (MW4 Beta Weekend 2) starting on August 28. No pre-order is required to participate.
We’ll see how much pent-up demand exists for Call of Duty on a Nintendo platform. Meanwhile, Activision is holding two beta weekends. One if for players who pre-order the game and one for everyone else.
Weekend 1 (August 21-25): For those who pre-order Modern Warfare 4 on PC, PS5, or Xbox (no Switch 2 beta)
Weekend 2 (August 28 to September 1): A proper public beta on all platforms (including Switch 2).
