Call of Duty: Mobile launched its new DMZ: Recon extraction mode on December 11, 2025, as part of its major Season 11 update. And it’s turned out to be a real success, according to Activision.

The game brings a new player-vs-player-vs-environment (PvPvE) experience to Serpent Island and Building 21 where players complete missions, loot, and exfiltrate. In a way that’s not so different from the popular ARC Raiders, DMZ Recon brings a fun extraction loop to Call of Duty: Mobile for the first time.
