It’s much nicer to actually give the people something fun instead of a mean prank.

Blizzard has created a neat little browser game, Maximum Novadrive, to celebrate April Fool’s Day. The company has always worked hard to deliver fun jokes on April 1, including fake announcements for Atari versions of World of Warcraft and in-game Chinese food delivery, but this is an actual a game you can play.

Sure, it’s a simple one that has you do little more but move around on a bike while zooming down a futuristic highway, but it’s still fun and the pixelated, retro look is nice. It can help you pass a few minutes while you’re waiting for the weekend to begin.

Of course, the star of this browser game, Nova, just got her own pack of missions for Blizzard’s real-time strategy game StarCraft II, so this little diversion does have some marketing purposes.
