Bigpoint Games brings in former Activision, Blizzard execs to bolster Games of Thrones launch

The developer of online browser-based games like Battlestar Galactica Online and an upcoming Game of Thrones adaptation just expanded its roster of creative executives.

Bigpoint Games has revealed today that it has hired a new creative director as well as a new director of art and content production. Brian Morrisroe, who previously worked at World of Warcraft developer Blizzard, will now direct all of Bigpoint’s creative endeavors. And Julien Proux, who comes from Activision and Ubisoft, will oversee Bigpoint’s art and content teams. This all comes as the publisher preps to roll out Game of Thrones: Seven Kingdoms, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game for PC.
