Bayonetta 2 fans, prepare to stream.

The next Nintendo Direct, a series of live-streaming videos that the gaming publisher and developer uses to show off upcoming projects, will focus on the action game sequel. It starts tomorrow, Sep. 4, at 3 p.m. PT.

Bayonetta 2 is a rare third-party exclusive for the struggling Wii U. The original Bayonetta came out back in 2010 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Sega handled the publishing duties then, but Nintendo has stepped into that role for the sequel.

While Nintendo games usually feature family friendly gameplay and colorful graphics, Bayonetta 2 is violent and titillating. It might seem like an odd choice for a Wii U exclusive, but it could attract gamers who usually consider Nintendo consoles too kid-friendly, especially after publisher Ubisoft declared that it will no longer sell mature games for the system.

Nintendo Directs usually give viewers an extended look at featured games. They also often contain a surprise or two.

Bayonetta 2 comes out on Oct. 25. It will come with a Wii U port of the original Bayonetta.
