PlayJam partners with Miniclip to bring gaming to Smart TV

Casual games network PlayJam has partnered with free online gaming site Miniclip to bring their titles to Smart TV. Miniclip will use the PlayJam platform to bring games like Fragger, Gravity Gun, and iStunt to Smart TVs manufactured by Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic, Western Digital, and Vestel. The titles will utilize social features, including leaderboards and integration with social networks.

Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes enters open beta

The open beta for Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes, a free-to-play player-versus-player game from BioWare Mythic, is now available to download. The new title allows players to engage in a variety of fast-paced matches between three teams of six players. The experience is inspired by Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, BioWare Mythic's 2008 massively-multiplayer online game.

Wii U reportedly launching on November 18 in North America

Nintendo's newest console, the Wii U, will launch in North America on Sunday, November 18th according to Wii U Daily. The site claims to have obtained an internal email from Japanese retailer Media Land that reportedly outs the system's November 18th release date, with the Japanese launch to follow a week a later. The email contained no info on a European launch.
