After experimenting with reprinting old games last year, GameStop is expanding into a whole new category of value-priced new games that will sit on the used shelf.
The Candy Crush Saga maker had a rough first day trading on the New York Stock Exchange. The company went public and introduced its stock at $22.50. At the closing bell, its shares were trading at $19, which is down more than 15.5 percent.
The social network has just announced that it has acquired Oculus VR, makers of the upcoming Oculus Rift head-mounted virtual-reality display, for $2 billion. That includes $400 million in cash as well as 23.1 million shares in Facebook stock with a current value of $1.6 billion.
