MoreFun Studios, a Tencent subsidiary, announced today that it’s launching its war simulation FPS, Arena Breakout: Infinite, to Steam in playable beta form in May. Players can sign up to participate in the closed beta test, and those who don’t will be able to play the game for free when it launches for everyone (though it does not yet have a full release date).
Infinite is set in the same universe as mobile title Arena Breakout, developed by fellow Tencent subsidiary Level Infinite. In the PC title, players are soldiers of fortune tasked with entering a warzone and completing various objectives for money. According to MoreFun, Arena Breakout: Infinite features a high level of immersion and customization, including the ability to shape your guns to your liking with over 500 accessories.
