The Face of AddictionGelled hair, a sly smirk, a pierced ear, and a pair of sweaty palms — this is the face of addiction. At least, that's what this poster, prepared by Alloy Media, would have you believe.

Estoye, a frequent Redditor, spotted this awareness ad in a hallway at his high school. Judging by the comments left by others, these posters are cropping up across the country. The message is simple: If you have the slightest interest in video games, then you're at risk of addiction. Quit cold turkey before it devours your life!

The pseudoscientific symptoms listed by Alloy's inarticulate poster are what irritate me the most. The advertisement suggests that if you think or talk about games while you're not playing them, then you probably suffer from addiction. Wow, what a claim!

Alloy also suggests that we trade in our video games for classic board games, stating "real games can be just as much fun."

I'll let you guys point out this poster's stupidity in the comments section. Go wild!
