Apple TV teased a new show based on Neuromancer, the William Gibson novel from 1984 that coined the word “cyberspace.”

Before Neal Stephenson published the word “metaverse” in 1992 in his novel Snow Crash, Gibson paved the way with the idea of a virtual place inside a computer that people could visit and meet. Now it’s an Apple TV streaming show, but no date has been set for the debut.
