Angry Birds Match is a match-3 mobile game that hatches nothing new

Collectibles and timed challenges are two of the most addictive things in mobile gaming. Rovio Entertainment’s Angry Birds Match wants to tempt you with both, and it’s out now on iOS and Android.

So far, we’ve seen the iconic Angry Birds take several different forms — racing, matching tiles, and pinging around a pinball machine. This is their first appearance in a match-3 game. Like in last year’s Angry Birds Action, the characters look more like their onscreen counterparts from the Angry Birds movie than their counterparts from the older mobile games.
