AMD CEO Lisa Su announced that AMD’s 6th Gen Epyc CPU, code-named Venice, is the best server CPU in the world.
Su made an announcement at its event at the Moscone convention center in San Francisco. Su said the chip has 1.8 times better performance than the 5th Gen Turin.

Venice is also not just one chip. The biggest chip has 256 cores. One is a GPU server host node, Verano, with LPDDR memory. It has variants that include Venice 128 core in a lower cost design.
