Ambiq goes public on the wave of low-power chips for the AI far edge

Ambiq Micro raised gross proceeds of $96 million today in an initial public offering for the low-power AI semiconductor company, which enables AI at the far edge.

Austin, Texas-based Ambiq issued four million shares of common stock at a public offering price of $24 a share. The gross proceeds to Ambiq from the offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses payable by Ambiq, are expected to be $96 million.
