Adam “Tommygun” Thompson made three games in his time as a Unity and Unreal game developer. But it was the fourth, Tommygun’s Frag, that took hold of his life, and it has stayed with him for more than eight years.
As the founder of Uranium Games, he’s the one-man show orchestrating a small team of modders to make a game called Tommygun’s Frag (FRAG by his spelling; you can wishlist it here). It’s a standalone version of an Arma 3 mod that he poured tons of hours into. Inspired by another mod called Sa-Matra’s King of the Hill, Thompson made a Battlefield-style tug-of-war game, first as a mod and, this week, he unveiled it as a standalone game.
