We are less than 10 days away from the launch of Sony’s PlayStation 4 next-gen console. A week later, Microsoft’s Xbox One will debut as well. As gamers gear up for the new systems, one launch-day game is moving ahead in terms of GameStop preorders.

First-person shooter Call of Duty: Ghosts is the next-gen consoles’ most preordered title at retailer GameStop, according to publisher Activision, who also expects that its game will outsell others after launch.

“We expect Call of Duty: Ghosts to be the most successful launch title for the Xbox One and PS4 by a wide margin,” Activision Publishing chief executive Eric Hirshberg said in a statement. “In fact, according to GameStop, Call of Duty: Ghosts is their most pre-reserved next-gen title.”

We’ve reached out to GameStop to ask what other titles are tracking well for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Call of Duty: Ghosts debuted yesterday on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC. Earlier today, Activision revealed that it already shipped $1 billion worth of modern-military action title to retailers, but it did not specify what percentage of that is for the next-gen boxes.

When it launches, the PlayStation 4 will have 21 physical and digital games. That includes Call of Duty competitors Killzone: Shadow Fall and Battlefield 4. Xbox One, meanwhile, will debut with 22 games, including Battlefield 4 and historical action game Ryse: Son of Rome.
