Acer unveiled a refreshed line of gaming laptops at CES this week, powered by the new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 “Panther Lake” processors. All of the laptops feature premium graphics via Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, as well as support for AI enhancements via Acer Intelligence Space. None of them yet have pricing available.
The first of the laptops is the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, which is designed for performance in work and in gaming. It has a 16-inch OLED WQXGA display with a 165hz refresh rate, and a new thermal system designed to keep up with long gaming sessions. Users can have up to 2TB of storage and 64GB of DDR5 RAM, as well support for Wi-Fi 6E rather than the new standard Wi-Fi 7.
Acer has also revealed two new Nitro laptops, the Nitro V 16 AI and 16S AI. The two models, part of Acer’s traditionally budget-oriented line, feature visuals that, while slightly less spectacular than the Helios, support DLSS 4 and a 180Hz refresh rate. The primary difference is that the 16S is slightly thinner than its counterpart.
In addition to the laptops, Acer also launched several gaming accessories, including a headset and mouse under the Predator line. The Galea 570 headset features environmental noise cancellation, a built-in mic and flexible connectivity. The Cestus 530 mouse also features flexible connectivity and a PixArt PAW3395 sensor. The company also announced several gaming monitors, including Predator XB273U F5, the Predator X34 F3 and the Acer Nitro XV270X P.
