Oculus VR announces conference to help developers make the best Oculus Rift experiences

Virtual reality is the next frontier of gaming, and Oculus Connect is the upcoming event that will school developers on the best practices for conquering that frontier.

Facebook’s Oculus VR revealed today that it will gather with developers in Hollywood on Sept. 19 and Sept. 20 to discuss making stuff for its Rift head-mounted display. The company is holding the event to help third-party studios understand what it takes to make compelling products for virtual reality. This should bolster the software available at or near the launch of the Rift headset, which will likely hit the consumer market later this year or early in 2015.
