These cases give your iPhone a retro Game Boy look

Rocketcases is introducing new cases for the iPhone today that cater to the nostalgia people have for old game systems like the Nintendo Game Boy or the Nintendo Entertainment System.

The cases for the Retro Gamer line include one that looks like the old Nintendo Game Boy. The cases are for the iPhone 5S, 5, 4S, and 4.

The cases are named G Boy and Controller. They are meant to appeal to fans of the 1980s video games. They offer both protection and nostalgia.

The G Boy retro cases are made of silicone in black and white. The Controller cases are made of hard plastic with the original NES-style controller.

They are available immediately with a street price of $15 and a suggested retail price of $20 from Rocketcases.

“The original handheld is back for iPhone 4, 4S, 5, and 5S. Way before Angry Birds, school hallways were filled with the sounds of Tetris, Mario Bros, and Donkey Kong Land,” said Rocketcases CEO Jim Sced. “Blow your friends away with a pocket full of nostalgia every time they see you rock this case. Duck Hunt not included.”
