The difference between me and Matt Layzell is that when old-time video game nostalgia grabs me, I stare out the window, slack-jawed, until it passes. Layzell actually channels that nostalgia into something awesome.
Layzell’s reimagined Road Rash and Starfox covers bring a new, distinctive visual style to each franchise — now all we need are new editions of these titles that are worthy of this kind of artwork. [via TinyCartridge]
