Plaud unveiled the Plaude One, a $250 wearable AI devices that captures and interprets human conversations.
Nathan Xu, CEO of Plaud, said in a press briefing that Plaud One Explorer Edition features earbuds and a case that can record in-person and phone conversations, along with a built-in eSIM for connectivity.
It integrates with various tools like Gmail, Slack, and Teams, and uses advanced AI models to proactively execute tasks. The device aims to bridge the gap between human memory and AI capabilities, offering a personalized, non-biased AI experience. Plaud One is available in an Explorer Edition, priced at $250, with plans for mass retail in 2027.

The company continued, “Plaud One is the first expression of that interface. It captures the live conversation, understands intent in real time, and acts across your tools proactively. Plaud One pairs advanced hardware with its latest Plaud Intelligence platform to capture, understand, act, and compound human intelligence.”

The Plaud One Explorer Edition is priced at $250 and is available to pre-order in selected
markets at 9 a.m. EDT, 27th Aug, 2026.
Plaud One works out of the box, and Plaud’s existing plans work with Plaud One the same way they do across Plaud devices today. Each Explorer Edition includes US$200 in Plaud Credits, which power Plaud Intelligence’s upcoming agent capabilities and other AI features.
Shipments are expected to begin in Q4 2026, Plaud App 4.0 will begin rolling out across all Plaud products in Q4.

The Plaude One Agent Platform is intended to enable Plaud itself, users as well as third-party developers to be able to build skills and agents on top of the Plaud agent runtime, so that they can define how their own Plaud AI can work for them in their own personalized ways.
The platform is able to turn conversations into a source of choice context that AI can use.
“We are building a lot of connectors that feature the most common and popular tools that users would use, such as Gmail, Slack, Teams, different calendars, different knowledge bases, different CRMs, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, etc. It’s going to be a large portfolio of connectors, so that it is able to gather context across different tools,” Xu said.
He added, “Once you just have Plaud, you can capture those conversations around work. AI is able to understand the intention by itself and trigger the actions that help you deliver the work you have in mind, so that’s how it works on the software level.”
For Plaud, Xu said, “We would not be attached to any existing business idea, whether it is around Meta for social media or Amazon for shopping, or Google for Gmail and Google Workspaces. Plaud is a model-agnostic and open platform that enables true personal and enterprise customization.”
Xu said the Plaud Agent Platform doesn’t just serve the Plaude One. It also servers existing Plaud users with Plaud Nodes Series devices.
“The difference is with the new products, you are able to have this wearable AI capability that you can talk to it and receive feedback in real time, right? So that’s like how it is different,” Xu said.
