On August 11, 2026, Nexon America announced that MapleStory Fest 2026 will take place on Saturday, October 17, at The Hill at Universal City in Los Angeles. The annual event brings together MapleStory players, creators, and developers for a day of community activities, game updates, and special announcements from the teams behind the franchise.

This year’s event introduces a new theater-style format, giving attendees a reserved seat for the day’s main program with the purchase of a single ticket. The live show will feature updates from the MapleStory team, musical performances, the debut of the first-ever Maple Music Video Contest, and other on-stage programming. Ticket holders will also be eligible to pre-order exclusive event merchandise before the show.

“We’re honored to bring MapleStory Fest back again this year,” said Hanbyeol “Inkwell” Oh, chief product officer for MapleStory, in a press release. “Community is the backbone of MapleStory, and we’re always inspired by the excitement and energy that comes from meeting Maplers in person. We have an amazing program planned for this year’s MapleStory Fest and can’t wait to share more details about the show in the coming weeks.”

While MapleStory Fest is likely to attract fans from across the world, one we spoke to told us that the community is most excited for MapleStory Classic and are hoping the event can confirm a solid release date.

“They have been dangling it for quite a while now, and while my perception was that the community was incredibly excited for it, I think that enthusiasm is slowly starting to wane with the lack of updates,” the player told GamesBeat.

They continued, “I have been a MapleStory player literally since its release, so MapleStory Classic has a lot of potential for great nostalgic gaming. I recently got back into it for the Hyper Burning event and have been playing with friends, but honestly, it was the siren song of Classic on the horizon that gave me a hankering for it again.”

The player also expressed frustration at the cost of playing MapleStory, including the price of tickets for MapleStory Fest, saying, “The full gameplay experience is reserved for those with unlimited funds. MapleStory Fest itself is a good example. $250 after tax for the cheapest ticket!”

Tickets for MapleStory Fest 2026 will go on sale Thursday, August 13, at 2:00 p.m. PDT, 2026. One ticket provides full access to the event, including the complete stage program and all fan activities.
