Drop Fake, a new studio founded by ex-Kabam developers, unveiled DCKO. This new mobile fighting game features a clash of iconic DC characters in 2-on-2 tag team battles across a variety of game modes such as PvE missions and, for the first time in a DC mobile fighter, real-time PvP multiplayer matches.
Officially licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC, DCKO features “pick up and play” arcade-style fighting gameplay that gets players into the action quickly while rewarding mastery and smart team composition, allowing advanced players to excel.
Players assemble duos of DC Super Heroes and DC Super-Villains to chain devastating combos and perform tactical assists to defeat strong opponents. Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Constantine, Superman and more Legends join the roster, all playable in both single-player and PvP live multiplayer modes.

Multiplayer in DCKO is a true, live PvP experience; a first for DC mobile fighting games. Players can challenge each other globally to climb leaderboards with their team of Legends and unlock new abilities, stat boosts, and more as they grow their characters and customize their teams to fit their playstyle. For example, players can choose to utilize heavy hitters like Superman to overpower opponents with combos that mix ground-based and aerial attacks, or prioritize DPS to chip away at foes using DC Super Heroes like Nightwing.
“It was important to us that DCKO represented a significant leap forward for the fighting game genre on mobile,” said Gene Campbell, creative director at Drop Fake, in a press release.
“Live multiplayer games between players are core to the spirit of fighting games, and we are proud of the work we’ve done to bring this feature to mobile comic book fighters for the first time. We want to nurture a healthy, competitive scene for this game and will share more on that in the future. Our team is very experienced in delivering games that comic book fans adore, and we can’t wait to hear everyone’s feedback on DCKO when we launch next year.”
Beyond competitive gameplay, DCKO offers a robust single-player PvE mode with an overarching storyline that lets players upgrade their roster and unlock new content. In Stories, players test their mettle against powerful foes like Ra’s al Ghul’s League of Assassins, Amazo’s robot army and the demon hordes of Trigon to upgrade their characters. Currency and XP can be gained in these PvE modes to prepare Legends to take on the world in PvP. New costumes can also be unlocked that call back to the beloved history of the DC Universe.
DCKO brings the pages of DC comic books to life through “Neo-Comic” art style ripped from the pages themselves, with bold inks, energetic palettes and dynamic super move animations. Well-known locales set the stage for battle as players duke it out in Themiscyra, the Batcave, Lazarus Pits and other notable arenas.
Along the way, players can earn and purchase multiple costume variants of fan-favorite DC Super Heroes and DC Super-Villains as they progress through the game. DCKO is coming to iOS and Android devices in 2027. Players can visit the official DCKO website to pre-register now and secure access for the game’s upcoming beta.
